You are the last operator on a ten-kilometre steel column in a lightless trench. Knock on the steel, listen to the echo, weld what is failing and bring the lights back, one module at a time. Then the column starts listening back.
Far below the surface, a megastructure stands in the dark: six legs, each ten kilometres tall, braced together like the frame of something no one finished. You work on one of them.
Each shift you leave the hut, the one warm room in the deep, and go out on the steel. You knock and listen. The echo tells you where the metal is failing. You weld it, pull the lever, and watch the light climb up into the black.
The more you light, the more you see: how far down it goes, how far up, how small you are against it. And the more you see, the more you realise you are not the only thing down here.
There are no cutscenes and no one to explain. The story is in what your lamp finds, what the column answers back, and what you decide it means.
