Why SteamTexx exists
SteamTexx is a private hobby project, but not a small one. Servers, proxies, databases, crawlers, backups and monitoring cost money and time every month.
I am deeply interested in data structures, graphs, time series, crawling architecture and the games industry. SteamTexx is my way of turning those interests into a useful tool.
What SteamTexx aims to do
The site brings together profile information, Game Charts, trust signals, Discord reports and community insights around publicly available Steam data.
Methodology and limits
SteamTexx collects and historizes public signals, but it does not turn them into an official verdict. Trust hints are based on several visible factors such as bans, profile status, playtime, groups, friends and changes over time.
A single signal rarely proves anything. SteamTexx data is meant to help spot patterns faster, not to judge people automatically.
Feature ideas and cooperation
If you are missing a feature, have an idea or want to use SteamTexx for a community, project or analysis, feel free to contact contact@steamtexx.info.
Privacy requests should go directly to privacy@steamtexx.info.
Fair use of the data
Please do not crawl SteamTexx automatically at scale or mirror substantial parts of the database. The project is already expensive enough without unnecessary infrastructure load.
Individual screenshots, numbers or excerpts for social media, videos, blogs or discussions are welcome as long as SteamTexx.info is visibly linked.
Independence
SteamTexx is not affiliated with Valve, Steam or Discord. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.
