The game features varied gameplay sections with different creatures and a narrative-focused approach to set itself apart from other games based on these places.</p><p class=\"bb_paragraph\" >The story begins when the protagonist, Ashen, is informed that something has gone wrong inside the Backrooms. His mission is to enter and locate the remaining agents stationed within.</p><p class=\"bb_paragraph\" >The game consists of an introductory area followed by three levels that make up Chapter One. The full game is planned to have a total of three chapters.</p><p class=\"bb_paragraph\" >Each level features a distinct gameplay mechanic:</p><p class=\"bb_paragraph\" ><strong>Level 1:</strong> The player must escape from large creatures that chase them through a series of corridors.
