Behind The Smile is a psychological horror. After a lifetime with your mom, who left her parents as a teen, you’re sent to spend time with grandparents you’ve never met in their remote house. Use voice interaction to speak directly to them and uncover hidden truths as they respond in real-time
You’ve lived your entire life with your mom. She left her childhood home years ago after a falling out with her parents, and you’ve never met your grandparents. But this year, everything changes.
For the first time, your mom is going on vacation for the holidays, and she’s leaving you at their remote, snow-covered home to spend Christmas with them.
At first, Grandma and Grandpa seem like the perfect hosts—warm, welcoming, and eager to make up for lost time. But as the days pass, something feels... off. Strange behaviors, locked doors, and uneasy conversations begin to unravel the truth about the people you’re staying with.
Who are Grandma and Grandpa, really? Why did your mom leave and never look back?
And most importantly… will you survive long enough to find out?
Grandma and Grandpa aren’t your typical holiday hosts. They are fully aware, highly intelligent AI characters who can talk to you through voice interaction. Use your microphone to ask questions, make conversation, or try to outsmart them. They’ll not only respond to you—they’ll adapt, react to their environment, and even talk to each other as they watch your every move.
FEATURES:
Voice Interaction: Communicate directly with Grandma and Grandpa using your microphone. Your words shape their responses, actions, and behavior.
Smart AI: Both characters are deeply aware of their surroundings, your actions, and each other. They’ll work together to keep their secrets hidden—and to keep you close.
Evolving Story: Your conversations and choices will unravel the horrifying truth behind their sinister plans.
Dynamic Environment: Explore the house and uncover clues, but be cautious—your snooping won’t go unnoticed.
