Backwards is a first-person psychological horror game where survival depends on three rules: walk backward, turn when you’re being observed, and move forward only when danger leaves you no choice. Read the hallway, trust your senses, and don’t get comfortable.
The rules are simple.
Walk backward.

Walk forward if you are in danger.
In Backwards, you are trapped inside an endless storage hallway where the environment constantly tests whether you understand those rules — and whether you can trust what you see, hear, and remember.
But the hallway is only the beginning.
Every stretch of corridor can behave differently. Doors may open onto impossible places. Entire worlds may unfold around you. Some encounters demand patience. Others demand immediate action. What begins as a strange set of instructions gradually becomes the only thing keeping you alive.
