Card Capital is a detailed simulation about buying, selling, and collecting fantasy trading cards. Start with a small budget and decide which cards are worth your money. Some purchases become stock for your shop. Others might be too good to sell.
Inspect the cards
Condition affects what a card is worth. Tilt it under the light to look for scratches, or use a loupe to examine a worn corner. As you upgrade your workshop, you can check centering and use UV light to find stains and exposed paper fibers.
Record what you find in an inspection report. Missing a crease can turn a promising purchase into a loss.
Buy stock and negotiate
Browse listings and compare asking prices with recent sales. Ask sellers for photos or certification documents when you have the skills to do so. Arrange an inspection when you need a closer look.
Some sellers misrepresent their cards. A certificate might be forged, or the card might have been damaged since it was graded. Check the evidence before making an offer.
When it is time to sell, set your price and choose what paperwork to include. Keep track of fees and purchase costs to see what you actually earned.
