Join the relentless war of Babushka, a Russian immigrant with a criminal past, as she fights to rescue her grandson from the clutches of loan sharks. Featuring PS1-style retro graphics, handcrafted animations, and modern third-person shooter mechanics, experience an action-packed tale of revenge.
Peace is Over, Revenge has Begun!
In a gritty American suburb, the retirement of a former Russian gangster—who spent her days tending to her "special backyard herbs"—came to a crashing halt with a single note. The Boulevard Sharks, a ruthless gang of loan sharks, have kidnapped Babushka’s most precious treasure: her young grandson, as payment for a debt. For Babushka, there is now only one rule left: Eliminate anyone in your way.
Retro Visuals, Modern Action
Babushka: Old Lady's Payback blends the iconic visual style of the PS1 era with fluid, handcrafted animations and satisfying combat mechanics. With a wide arsenal including ARs, Shotguns, and Bazookas, deliver justice "the Russian way" to the loan sharks and anyone else foolish enough to stand in your path.
Game Features:
Cinematic & Deep Storytelling: Experience a semi-open yet linear campaign filled with opportunistic allies, dangerous enemies, and unexpected betrayals.
Intense Combat Dynamics: Defend dealer against waves of police raids or storm the hidden dens of loan sharks.
Absurd & Dark Humor: Featuring a heavy Russian accent, a shady criminal past, and a witty narrative style touching on current events.
Atmospheric World-Building: Explore atmospheric levels inspired by 90s crime films, where every corner hides a different story.
