A turn based RPG focused on paying off an impossible debt of 1 trillion credits. Start as a party of underequipped freelancers fighting enemies for menial pay. Mix and match equipment upgrades and synergies to take on harder, but more lucrative contracts to eventually win the couple their freedom.
In this universe, a down-on-their-luck couple find themselves in impossible debt.
These two characters will be your party to command:
Isaac specializes in all things offense, using weapons from assault rifles, shotguns, snipers, to riot gear and tasers. If more firepower is needed, equipment upgrades allow him to bring two, and even three weapons into missions for more damage and less downtime. Furthermore, his grenades provide ample crowd control, and can be used once enough damage has been dealt.
Sona, on the other hand, focuses on all things defense, using her healing magic to keep the two standing strong. Divine blessings, unlocked after ample healing, can grant one, or even both freelancers with temporary invulnerability, allowing for more offensive plays or a breathing room during attacks. She can also revive the dead, giving her partner a second fighting chance should he go down.
Start out as two underequipped foot soldiers, taking on whatever contracts may be available. Explore the mission site, defeat enemies in your way, and complete the objective. To do this, allocate resources and turns tactically and utilize each party member's movesets to keep your team alive. Should you succeed, your party will gain credits.
With credits, you can purchase various equipment and equipment upgrades that the game has to offer. Each freelancer can be armed with their own set of upgrades which introduces more mechanics to use in combat and allows the duo to take on more lucrative contracts in the future.
The game is currently a polished 2-5 hour turn based RPG experience with new content releases planned.
