In the classic tale, "The Tortoise and the Hare", as told by our narrator, Simon, an overconfident Hare taunts a turtle who is seen as slow and incapable. The Hare then challenges the Tortoise to a race in order to prove that he could defeat him with ease many times over. In the process, the reader learns many great lessons about attitude and determination that can carry a child through a lifetime!
